Parish Ministries

Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal benefit society formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.

The Knights have become the world's foremost Catholic fraternal benefit society. The Order has helped families obtain economic security and stability through its life insurance, annuity and long-term care programs, and has contributed time and energy worldwide to service in communities.

The Knights of Columbus has grown from several members in one council to more than 12,000 councils and 1.6 million members throughout the United States and around the world.

Here in Estes Park, the Knights are active in a variety of projects that include scholarship programs, fund raising and assistance to the parish and in the community, and spiritual growth in the parish. Contact the office for the name of the Grand Knight for this chapter as well as contact phone and email information.

The current Knight calendar of events can be found in the weekly bulletin.

Wednesday Bible Study Group

Each Wednesday morning (9:50 - 11:00 AM), parishioners, visitors and people of other faith meet in our parish library for a Bible Study meeting.  The Scripture texts, which serve as the foundation of the study and discussion program, are the readings from the next Sunday’s Masses. This gives all participants a chance to read and reflect on what they will be hearing proclaimed in the coming weekend.

The resulting discussion gives each person a chance to gain from the insight of others. Over the years, many deep and wonderful friendships and prayer partnerships have formed from those meeting at this Bible Study Group.  Any and all are welcome to sit in.

If interested, or for more information, contact Claire Kreider (577-1669)!
